Important Information for This Friday's Ledgers Football Game: Road Construction and Parking
As we prepare to kick off our first Ledgers Football home game this Friday night, August 23rd, we wanted to provide you with some important information regarding the road construction happening in front of Fruth Field.
Road Construction Details:
- Area Affected: Road construction is taking place on 9th Street – Bridge to Linden Street, directly in front of Fruth Field. Below you will find detailed directions to help with any construction detours.
- Closures: The affected section, marked on the below map in RED will be closed to through traffic. This may impact your usual route to the stadium. You can still access the Aquatic Center lot from the West (Morris St. to 9th).
Parking Information:
- Map Included: Please find on the map below the available parking areas and the locations of the road closures. In BLUE you will find general admission parking and in ORANGE you will find handicap, elderly and team bus parking areas.
- Aquatic Center Parking: We encourage you to use the Aquatic Center parking lot, parking attendants will be on-site to assist in maximizing the use of available spaces and to direct you as needed. Additional parking is available in the North lot on the back end of Fruth Field off of South Street (also marked in blue on the map), and there will be limited street parking on Linden Street.
Preparation Tips:
- Footwear: Given the construction, we recommend wearing closed-toe shoes for your safety and comfort as you navigate the area around the stadium.
- Arrive Early: Arriving early will help you avoid congestion and secure a convenient parking spot.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work through the city’s necessary improvements. Our goal is to ensure that everyone has a smooth and enjoyable experience at the game.

Get involved with our Parent Connectors Group!!
Welcome Back! We hope you had a wonderful summer! Are you wanting to get more involved in our Parent Connectors Group? If so, look for the Parent Connectors volunteer form in your packet you will be receiving at the supply drop off day (3K-5th Grade). If your youngest child is in 6th grade or above, you won’t be receiving a form to fill out but can email Andrea Nuss, alnuss@charter.net, to share that you are interested in being a part of our group. Every year a new email group gets created so please submit your form even if you have done so in the past years. Also, only one form per family is needed to be filled out. Throughout the year, our group has various school family events as well shows our amazing SMSA Staff how appreciative we are for them. By being a part of our group, you will receive emails that shares ways you can help with these events through volunteering and donating. Our group wouldn’t be a successful without all of the wonderful people involved in it. Thank you so much! If you have any questions, please email Andrea Nuss, alnuss@charter.net.
