Saturday, December 21, 2024, people of all ages are invited to come to Holy Family Hall following the 4:00 pm Mass to decorate Christmas cookies and watch the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas on the big screen! The event is free and all are welcome.
Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel welcomes you every day to pray in the presence of our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament. The chapel’s hours will be adjusted for the Christmas and New Year’s holidays. The chapel will close at 7:00 pm on Monday, December 23 for decorating. The chapel will also close at noon on Tuesday, December 24, Wednesday, December 25, Tuesday, December 31, and Wednesday, January 1.
If you are unable to come to your scheduled Holy Hour or if you are able to sub, please text (920) 579-2895 or email sutton_family01@charter.net. On all other days, the chapel will operate on its normal hours of 5:00 am to 10:00 pm.
Young men who want to learn more about the Catholic priesthood are invited to visit Saint Francis de Sales Seminary for an evening of fellowship at 5:00 pm on Friday, December 27, 2024. The event will begin with Mass celebrated by Archbishop Listecki and continue with dinner hosted by Fr. Michael Malucha, Vocation Director, and diocesan priests and seminarians. Holy Family is turning 25 in 2025! In honor of this special occasion, Ziegler Winery has created two commemorative wines: Saints’ Blessing (Dry White Wine) & Testament Reserve (Dry Red Wine). These wines make great gifts for the holidays and a portion of the cost of each bottle sold benefits the parish. Do you feel that something is missing your life? Are you feeling lonely? Do you need someone to talk to? Jesus is waiting for you at the Sacred Heart Adoration Chapel. Holy Family Catholic Community encourages you to sign up to spend an hour a week with Jesus, who is present in the Blessed Sacrament. Christian Formation is in need of volunteers to assist at its events. As all the events are coordinated by staff, volunteers will not need to do any prep work – you simply show up and help. Opportunities include assisting with the Faith Builders Club for Kids, overseeing teens at High School Youth Group Nights, and set up and clean up for family events. Holy Family invites high school students to join them on their trip to the Steubenville-Joliet Conference June 27-29. Steubenville-Joliet is a weekend conference that evangelizes, equips and empowers high school youth to become radical, joyful disciples. There are 20 spots reserved which will be given out on a first-come, first-serve basis. The parish will host hold an informational meeting for the trip on Wednesday, January 8 at 8:00 pm in the Sacred Heart School Basement following High School Youth Group. Men are invited to participate in the Jesuit Retreat House’s annual Men’s Retreat taking place January 16-19, 2025 at the Jesuit Retreat house in Oshkosh! The retreat offers an opportunity to take time out to deepen your relationship with God through prayer, stillness, resting, and listening. Fr. Casey Beaumier, S.J., the director for Advanced Jesuit Studies at Boston College, will serve as the retreat’s spiritual director. Deacon Marty Ryan serves as one of the retreat coordinators. Women of Holy Family parish are invited to join a Women’s Ministry Morning Retreat “Sharing Our Journey” on Saturday, January 18, 2025 from 7:00 to 10:20 am at Holy Family Church and Hall. The day will feature a talk, Confession, Adoration, Mass, and breakfast.
Are you already Baptized, and have received Reconciliation and First Communion in the Catholic Church? Are you wanting to be confirmed in the Catholic faith?
