Help Holy Family Catholic Community stock the Care Closets of Fond du Lac area schools this Christmas season with the parish’s Advent Giving Tree! The Care Closets provide students in need of clothing, school supplies, and hygiene items, so they do not have to go without and feel different than their peers. Beginning this weekend, you can select a tag from a tree at one of the Holy Family sites and return it to that site, along with your items by Sunday, December 8. Please note that children will not go without toys this Christmas, as The Salvation Army of Fond du Lac County will continue to provide gifts. If you would like to purchase a toy, you may pick up a tag from The Salvation Army.
In honor of the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Fr. Durand will offer a talk on the Mystery and the Meaning of the Immaculate Conception from 4:30 to 5:30 pm in the basement of St. Mary Church on Monday, December 9. Adoration and Mass afterwards at 6:00 pm.
To celebrate Holy Family Catholic Community’s 25th anniversary in 2025, the parish has partnered with Ziegler Winery to offer two commemorative wines: Saints’ Blessing (Dry White Wine) & Testament Reserve (Dry Red Wine). These wines make great gifts for the holidays and additions to your celebrations!
Bottles are $25 each and will be available for purchase beginning Friday, November 22 by visiting zieglerwinery.com/wines, or stopping in at the winery at W3953 Winnebago Heights Road, Malone.

On December 21, people of all ages are invited to come to Holy Family Hall following the 4:00 pm Mass to decorate Christmas cookies and watch the classic A Charlie Brown Christmas on the big screen! The students in grades 4-8 at St. Mary’s Springs Academy have created unique and original Christmas cards. These cards will be sold for $2.00 after the Masses at Holy Family Parish sites on Saturday, December 7th and Sunday, December 8th. All proceeds from the Christmas Card Sale will benefit The Medina family.
The Medina family has 3 children with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Mateo is 13, Javier is 8, and Amelia is 6 years old. Mateo spent his first year in and out of the hospital. He had surgeries for a feeding tube and trach to help him breathe. Javier receives spinal injected medicine every 4 months for life. He has a feeding tube and wears a bipap at night. Javier is unable to run or jump and lost his ability to smile. Amelia was diagnosed before she was born. She received a one time infusion and currently shows no signs of Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
